Laroze's wines

Grapes of this appellation come exclusively from the plot Charmes Chambertin to respect the terroir of this appellation. The Charmes soil is not very deep and composed of clay, limestones and marl.

Laroze de Drouhin produces only two barrels of Charmes Chambertin, so the vinification has to be very precise to keep the characteristics of the appellation, with an ageing only in new oak barrels.

Appellation's characteristics

Charmes Chambertin is a velvety powerfull wine. The nose offers notes of dark berry fruit aromas with discreet touch of wood. This wine introduces a rich, robust and concentrated mid-palate following an impressively persistent finish.
Advice for tasting: 15 to 16 °C
